Scholarships and Fee Support at MMYVV
Fee Concessions Built into the System
- A student can pursue a diploma along with a degree without paying a second admission fee
- Students already studying in the university pay only the academic fee and examination fee when they continue to the next degree or diploma
- University students who take a 3 or 6 month certificate course pay only the examination fee
- Students with a three-year degree get a two-year postgraduate programme and those with a four-year degree get a one-year postgraduate programme
These rules reduce the total cost of a degree and encourage students to add a skill or a Vedic diploma to their main course. A student of B.A., for example, can add a certificate in Spoken English or Yoga by paying only the exam fee.
Government Scholarships
Students who belong to eligible categories can apply for scholarships offered by the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh through the official scholarship portals. The amounts, income limits and eligibility rules are decided by the concerned departments and change from year to year, so students should verify the current terms on the portals and with the university. The university also has an Equal Opportunity Cell and a Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups Cell that support students from weaker sections.
