Dr. KNS Memorial Institute of Medical Sciences, previously Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences, is an independent medical college and hospital founded in 2012 in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. Tied-up with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University and sanctioned by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the institute provides an array of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, such as MBBS, MD, MS, B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, and ANM. Admission is entry level, where NEET UG is needed for MBBS and NEET PG for MD/MS. The campus area is 35 acres and has state-of-the-art infrastructure in the form of well-facilitated lecture theatres, demonstration rooms, a vast library, hostels, sports complex, and a gym. The hospital has a NABH-accredited set-up with more than 1,000 beds and highly specialized care units like ICCU, NICU, SICU, etc.
