New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) is a unit of the Society for Employment and Career Counselling, a non-profit and charitable education society registered since 1992. NDIM was set up in 1992 by a group of distinguished public figures including freedom fighter and senior UPSC member J.R. Bansal, former Chairman UPSC Dr. M.L. Shahare, former Deputy Governor of RBI R.K. Kaul, and former Supreme Court Judge Justice R.S. Sarkaria, with the vision of raising the bar of Indian management education to global standards. NDIM is Approved by the AICTE, Government of India, since 1996, and its 2-year full-time PGDM programme was declared MBA equivalent by AICTE in 2008 and by the Association of Indian Universities since 2020. The PGDM is also accredited by ASIC, UK since 2014. NDIM has been consistently ranked among the best MBA colleges in India by AIMA, IMRB, Business World, Business Standard, Business India, DNA Group of Newspapers and KPMG, and was declared the Best Industry-Linked Management Institute by AICTE in 2017, 2018 and 2019. A distinguishing feature of the PGDM at NDIM is that students graduate with a Dual Specialization instead of a single major, chosen from areas including HR, Marketing, Finance, IT & Systems, Media Marketing & Communication, Logistics-Supply Chain Management & Operations, International Business, Digital Marketing and Business Analytics (AI/ML). The institute has strong industry interface through its Corporate Resource Centre, Corporate Mentoring Programme, Live Projects, Summer/Winter Internships and International Immersion programmes, and reports 100% placements since inception.
