NAMCH offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme, a 5.5-year degree course comprising 4.5 years of academic study and 1 year of compulsory internship. The course is affiliated with Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, and recognised by NCISM, New Delhi.

Admission to BAMS at NAMCH is based solely on NEET UG scores. Candidates must qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA. The Bihar state Ayush counselling committee then releases a merit list based on NEET ranks and allots seats. Candidates must bring all original documents — 10th and 12th certificates, character certificate, Aadhaar card, health certificate, and passport photographs — at the time of admission.

Yes, NAMCH provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls on campus. The hostels are supervised by dedicated wardens and a security team, and the entire campus including hostels is under 24-hour CCTV surveillance. Both hostel blocks provide well-managed lodging and fooding facilities.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 (I.Sc. Biology) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The minimum age at the time of NEET UG examination is 17 years. Candidates must also have qualified the NEET UG examination conducted by NTA.
