Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates); final-year students may apply but must furnish proof of degree completion by 30 September of the admission year. Candidates with pending backlog papers are not eligible to apply. Entrance scorecards (CAT/MAT/KMAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/ATMA) are optional but preferred during selection, per the official Admissions page.
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)
Master's degree with 60%+ marks in Engineering, Management, Economics, Social Sciences or Commerce, OR a 2-year PG Diploma (60%+) or CA/ICWA/CS plus a Bachelor's degree; a valid CAT/GATE/GRE/GMAT/UGC-NET score is required, followed by a Research Proposal presentation (10-15 minutes) and a Personal Interview, per the official Programme page.

Beyond the PGDM, MSRIM offers a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) - a full-time residential doctoral programme (4-5 years, maximum 7) for aspiring academicians and researchers, spanning specialisation areas including General Management, HRM, Finance, Information Systems, Economics, Operations/Supply Chain, Analytics, Marketing, Strategic Management, Healthcare Management, and Behavioural Sciences. Eligible full-time FPM scholars receive an Institute Fellowship of INR 25,000 per month for up to 4 years.
