Note: As per DMER Maharashtra official notification for AY 2025-26: Open category annual tuition fee = ₹1,62,100/year. Tuition is charged for 4.5 academic years only (internship year is stipend-paid, not fee-charged), so total course tuition = ₹1,62,100 × 4.5 ≈ ₹7,29,450 (commonly rounded to ~₹7.3 lakh). Hostel fee separate, approximately ₹4,000/month. Fee paid by DD in favour of 'Dean, Seth GS Medical College, Parel, Mumbai 400012' from any nationalised bank. MBBS internship stipend: ₹11,000–₹13,000/month per DMER Maharashtra norms. Service bond: 1 year compulsory (since 2022, mandatory rural service cannot be substituted by penalty payment for scholarship holders); penalty for non-scholarship default: ₹10,00,000. No management/NRI quota — 100% government counselling. Fees are revised annually by DMER/State Fee Regulating Authority — reconfirm before each admission cycle.

Note: As per DMER Maharashtra AY 2025-26 notification, SC/ST/VJ/NT category pays a nominal ₹10,000/year with the rest of tuition fully waived via Government of Maharashtra fee-waiver scheme (applied through Mahadbt portal). Total over 4.5 fee-charged years ≈ ₹45,000. Since 2022 (GR MED 1021/C.R.128/21), scholarship recipients must mandatorily complete the rural service bond — cannot substitute with payment.
