BCECEB UGMAC 2026 Round 3 Counselling Corrigendum: Stray Vacancy Eligibility and Security Deposit Rules Explained
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released a corrigendum for Round 3 of UGMAC 2026 counselling for NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.F.Sc. courses in Bihar. The notice, dated October 14, 2026, clarifies seat-freezing rules, admission requirements, security deposit forfeiture, and eligibility for the Stray Vacancy Round.
According to the corrigendum, candidates allotted seats through Round 3 will be treated as Freeze candidates due to a technical issue. Candidates must physically report to their allotted institute within the prescribed schedule with all original documents required for verification and admission.
For candidates allotted MBBS or BDS seats, failure to report for document verification, failure to take admission after verification, or being declared ineligible because of discrepancies may result in cancellation of the allotted seat and forfeiture of the security deposit. Such candidates may participate in the Stray Vacancy Round only for B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.F.Sc. seats, subject to fresh payment of the counselling fee and security deposit.
Candidates allotted B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.F.Sc. seats who successfully complete document verification must take admission at their allotted institute. They may then give consent for the Stray Vacancy Round and remain eligible for MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.F.Sc. seats. Those who fail to complete admission may also face seat cancellation and security deposit forfeiture; participation in the Stray Vacancy Round requires fresh payment and consent.
Eligible candidates must log in to the UGMAC-2026 online portal using their NEET UG 2026 roll number and password to provide consent, wherever applicable. Candidates should read the complete corrigendum and follow the official counselling schedule. Other terms and conditions in the earlier UGMAC 2026 advertisements remain unchanged.
