CENTAC B.Tech Lateral Entry Round 3 2026: Course Preference Submission
CENTAC has announced the Round 3 allotment process for UG B.Tech. Lateral Entry courses. Registration and submission of course preferences for Round 3 have been enabled from 19 August 2026. Candidates interested in participating must submit their willingness and course preferences through their UG B.Tech. Lateral Entry dashboard.
Key Points Candidates Must Know
- Fresh preferences required: Preferences submitted in Round 1 and Round 2 are no longer valid. Candidates participating in Round 3 must submit a fresh preference list.
- Sliding is allowed: Vacancies can arise dynamically during allotment, so candidates should submit preferences even for courses that do not currently show vacancies.
- Preference order matters: Candidates are responsible for entering their choices correctly. Changes will not be accepted after the Round 3 registration deadline.
- No preferences = no allotment: Candidates who leave their course preference list empty will not receive a seat.
- Previous seat cancellation: If a candidate receives a new seat through Round 3, their Round 1 or Round 2 admitted course will be automatically cancelled.

- Submit their willingness for Round 3.
- Fill a fresh course preference list.
- Arrange preferences carefully.
- Submit the preferences before 21 August 2026, 5:00 PM.
