The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has issued a notice dated 17 October 2026 announcing registration for the Stray Vacancy Round of UG NEET-based courses for the 2026–27 academic session. The counselling round covers MBBS, BDS and BAMS seats under Government, Management and NRI quotas in government and self-financing medical, dental and Ayurveda colleges in Puducherry.
Candidates who have already applied to CENTAC can submit their willingness, fresh course preferences and the applicable registration fee through their dashboard from 17 October to 20 October 2026, up to 5:00 PM. Candidates must check the published vacancy list before registering.
CENTAC has also invited fresh applications for BDS and BAMS only from NEET-qualified candidates between 17 October and 19 October 2026, up to 5:00 PM. Fresh applicants will be considered for seat allotment only after the existing merit list has been exhausted.
Candidates included in the Round 3 admitted list of All India Quota or State Quota counselling are not eligible to participate. Candidates allotted a seat in CENTAC Round 3 who did not join are also excluded. Candidates allotted a seat in the MCC Stray Round will be removed from eligibility.
Candidates must submit course preferences afresh, as Round 3 preferences will not remain valid. Sliding will not be permitted during the Stray Round.
Applicants should carefully review the fee requirements before participating. Failure to join an allotted seat may result in forfeiture of the applicable full tuition fee and other penalties specified in the notice, including possible debarment from the next year's UG NEET examination.
