CENTAC UG NEET 2026: JIPMER-Allotted Candidates Removed from Round 1
The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry has issued a notice regarding the removal of candidates allotted seats at JIPMER, Puducherry, from the CENTAC UG-NEET Round 1 allotment. The notice concerns candidates who had applied for UG NEET-based degree courses, including M.B.B.S, B.D.S. and B.A.M.S., under the Government Quota through CENTAC and have subsequently been allotted seats at JIPMER, Puducherry under the Internal – Puducherry UT Domicile quota.
According to the notice, the list of such JIPMER-allotted candidates has been published on the CENTAC website. Candidates who find their names in the list and have any objection have been given an opportunity to raise it through the Grievances option available in their CENTAC login Dashboard. Objections must be submitted using the candidate's login credentials on or before 26 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
CENTAC has stated that candidates who have been allotted JIPMER seats will be removed from the CENTAC UG-NEET Round 1 allotment list. However, a JIPMER-allotted candidate who still wishes to participate in CENTAC counselling can submit their willingness through the login Dashboard. Such candidates must also pay a Caution Deposit of ₹1 lakh by 26 August 2026, 5:00 PM.
The notice further clarifies that the ₹1 lakh caution deposit will be forfeited if a seat is allotted through CENTAC Round 1 and the candidate does not join the allotted seat. If the candidate joins the allotted seat, the caution deposit will be adjusted against the tuition fee. Candidates have also been advised to refer to the UG NEET-2026 Information Brochure for further instructions.
