Chhattisgarh BPT Course Duration 2026: 5 Years Including 1-Year Internship
The Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh, has issued an important notice regarding the duration of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course for the 2026 admission year. The notice, dated September 30, 2026, is applicable to all candidates participating in Chhattisgarh BPT counselling 2026.
As per the notice, the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has prescribed the duration of the BPT programme under the Competency Based Curriculum for Physiotherapy. According to the prescribed curriculum, the total duration of the BPT course is 5 years, which includes 1 year of Rotatory Clinical Internship.
Therefore, candidates seeking admission through Chhattisgarh BPT Counselling 2026 should take note that the programme is a five-year course, including the one-year Rotatory Clinical Internship.
