GNM Entrance Competitive Examination–2026: Result Publication and Important Notice Regarding 1st & 2nd Online Counselling
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the result of the GNM Entrance Competitive Examination 2026 conducted on 23 August 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination can download their results through the official JCECEB website by selecting the GNM Entrance Competitive Examination in the Result section.
JCECEB has also announced the schedule for 1st and 2nd rounds of online counselling for GNM admission. The counselling will be conducted for admission to all seats in government nursing institutions and 50% of the free seats in non-government nursing institutions in Jharkhand. Candidates who have qualified the GNM Entrance Competitive Examination 2026 are eligible to participate in the counselling process.
For Round 1, online registration and choice filling for seat allotment will be conducted from 09 September to 12 September 2026. Candidates can edit their filled choices on 13 September 2026. The provisional seat allotment letter will be issued on 15 September 2026, followed by document verification and admission at the concerned nursing institute from 16 September to 19 September 2026.
For Round 2, the seat matrix will be displayed on 21 September 2026, while registration and choice filling will be open from 21 to 23 September 2026. Provisional seat allotment will be released on 25 September, followed by document verification and admission from 26 to 30 September 2026.
Candidates are advised to fill as many choices as possible according to their preference. The counselling fee is ₹400 for General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II candidates and ₹250 for female candidates of all categories. The fee is non-refundable
