JCECEB NEET UG 2026: State Merit List Correction Notice OUT
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has issued an important notice regarding corrections in the State Merit List based on NEET UG 2026 results. The notice, Advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-47, is dated September 1, 2026, and concerns candidates participating in Jharkhand State Quota counselling for MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses.
JCECEB had earlier published Advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-47 dated August 6, 2026, for preparation of the State Merit List for conducting the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Stray Vacancy Rounds of online counselling for admission to State Quota seats. The Board has now clarified the process for candidates seeking corrections in their category and other relevant particulars.
According to the notice, only representations submitted as per the provisions of Clause 7 of the earlier advertisement will be considered. The Board has also specified that ST/SC/BC-I/BC-II/NC-I/BCINCL and EWS certificates will be accepted only if they are issued by an officer not below the level of Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) of Jharkhand State.
Candidates whose names were included in the State Merit Lists published on August 14, 2026 have been directed to submit a fresh application on September 3, 2026, clearly mentioning the required correction(s) and attaching the necessary supporting documents.
The fresh application must be submitted through email at controller.jceceb@gmail.com. JCECEB has clearly stated that requests received after the stipulated date or without the required supporting documents will not be entertained.
The applications received on September 3, 2026 will be scrutinised by the Board, following which appropriate action will be taken. Candidates are advised to carefully check their particulars and submit valid supporting documents within the prescribed deadline.
