Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 Merit List Correction Notice
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has issued an important notice concerning corrections to the State Merit List/Merit Lists prepared using the NEET UG 2026 results.
The Board had previously published Advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-47 dated 6 August 2026 and Advertisement Nos. JCECEB/46/26-52 and 53 dated 8 August 2026 for preparing merit lists for the first, second, third and stray vacancy rounds of online counselling for admission to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses under State Quota and All India seats.
Following representations from candidates requesting corrections to their category and other particulars, JCECEB has clarified that only requests submitted in accordance with Clause 7 of Advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-47 will be considered.
Candidates whose names appeared in the State Merit Lists published on 28 September 2026 and 25 September 2026 have been directed to submit fresh applications for eligible minor corrections from 11 October 2026 to 14 October 2026, up to 6:00 PM.
Permitted corrections may include D.O.B., gender, name and certificate updates, including the Local Resident Certificate (LRC) of Jharkhand, caste certificate, and Income and Assets Certificate for EWS. Applications must include the required supporting documents and be emailed to controller.jceceb@gmail.com.
Requests received after the deadline, or without the necessary supporting documents, will not be entertained. Candidates should consult the original advertisements and official Board website for the applicable conditions.
