Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment & Choice-4
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued an important update regarding UGNEET-2026 admission to Medical and Dental Courses. The notice dated September 6, 2026, concerns the Second Round Seat Allotment – Provisional Results – Choice-4 – Final Results process for eligible candidates.
Candidates eligible to participate in the second round include those selected for Choice-2 or Choice-3 after the first round, candidates who were not allotted any seat in Round 1, and candidates who opted for Choice-4 in the UGCET second-round seat allotment, subject to availability of Medical or Dental options.
As per the notice, option entry for the second round will begin at 2:00 PM on September 7, 2026, and close at 2:00 PM on September 9, 2026. Candidates must log in to the KEA portal, prioritize their preferred options, save and submit them before the deadline. Candidates are advised to retain a printout of their finally submitted options.
KEA has stated that seats becoming vacant due to cancellation, forfeiture, newly added seats or consequential vacancies may also be considered during allotment. Therefore, candidates should retain all options they are interested in.
The provisional Round 2 results and Choice-4 dates will be announced later. In the final allotment, candidates allotted a seat will have Choice-1 only, and Choice-4 will not be available. Such candidates must pay the prescribed fees, download the seat confirmation slip and report to the allotted college according to the schedule announced by KEA. Candidates interested in further participation may be permitted to participate in the third round as per applicable directions.
