Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2026: Third Phase MBBS/BDS Fresh Option Registration

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has commenced fresh option registration for the third phase of MBBS and BDS counselling for the academic year 2026–27. The notification was issued on September 28, 2026, for State Quota seats. Eligible candidates can register their fresh options through the official CEE Kerala website, cee.kerala.gov.in, until October 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The provisional allotment is scheduled to be published on October 8, 2026, followed by the final allotment on October 9, 2026. Candidates allotted seats must join their respective colleges between October 10 and October 14, 2026, by 4:00 PM. College authorities must approve and submit the list of admitted candidates through OAMS by October 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Fresh Option Registration: Who Can Apply? Candidates included in the Medical rank lists published by CEE Kerala are eligible to register fresh options for the third phase. Fresh option registration is mandatory for candidates who wish to be considered in this phase, whether or not they received an allotment in previous rounds. Candidates who already have an admission from an earlier phase and do not register fresh options will retain their previous admission. Candidates who receive an allotment in the third phase but fail to join within the prescribed deadline will lose the current allotment, the previous phase allotment, and all options in the relevant stream. Candidates registering fresh options must pay a registration fee of ₹5,000. Eligible SC/ST/OEC and other specified concession-category candidates must pay ₹500. The registration fee is adjusted against tuition fees for government college allotments. For private self-financing college allotments, the fee is refunded after the admission closing date, provided the candidate has joined the allotted college. Candidates who do not receive an allotment are eligible for a refund, subject to the notification's conditions. The 2026–27 fee for self-financing medical and dental colleges has not yet been finalized. Candidates allotted seats in these colleges must provisionally pay the 2025–26 fee and pay any balance if the final fee is higher. Candidates allotted seats in government medical and dental colleges must pay the complete fee to CEE Kerala. Certain eligible categories are exempt from the token fee, subject to the conditions specified in the notification. Vacant MBBS and BDS seats remaining after the third phase will be filled through the Stray Vacancy Allotment. Candidates should regularly visit the official CEE Kerala website for further notifications, allotment updates, and admission instructions.
