KNRUHS – Super Specialty Regular Examinations Notification, October 2026
The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has issued the notification for the Super Specialty Regular Examinations for October 2026. The examinations are scheduled to commence from 31 October 2026. The notification is applicable to eligible Super Specialty students admitted to medical colleges in Telangana whose admissions were approved by KNRUHS during the 2023–24 academic year, along with eligible backlog students who have failed, were detained or could not register for earlier examinations.
Students who have completed the required three-year study period, including the examination period, are eligible to appear. A candidate must have at least 80% attendance in working days, specified as 751 days out of 939 days. The attendance calculation cut-off date is 23 September 2026, while colleges must upload attendance details from 28 to 30 September 2026. The confirmation date for uploaded attendance is 3 October 2026.
For final examination eligibility, a postgraduate student in a broad/super specialty degree course must complete at least one academic/research requirement: poster presentation, podium presentation at a National/Zonal/State conference, or one research paper published/accepted for publication as first author.
KNRUHS will use digital valuation and candidates will receive only one barcode-based answer booklet. No additional answer booklet will be provided. Candidates must secure 50% aggregate marks in theory and 50% in practical/clinical and viva, with at least 40% in each theory paper. No grace marks are permitted.
