Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 2: Schedule, Choice Filling & Result Date
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released Notice No. 13 dated September 5, 2026, announcing the schedule for CAP Round 2 of NEET UG 2026 counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under Group A for the academic year 2026–27.
According to the notice, CAP Round 2 will be conducted to fill the MBBS and BDS seats remaining vacant after CAP Round 1. The Round 2 seat matrix will be published on September 7, 2026. Candidates will then be able to submit their online college and course preferences from September 8 to September 10, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
The CAP Round 2 Selection List is scheduled to be declared on September 12, 2026. Candidates who receive an allotment must complete physical joining at their allotted college between September 13 and September 18, 2026, excluding September 14. They are required to carry their original documents and requisite fees/DD for admission confirmation.
The academic session is scheduled to begin on September 15, 2026. However, the Maharashtra CET Cell has clarified that the schedule may be changed depending on directions from MCC, AACCC, the Central or State Government, or the court.
