Maharashtra NEET UG 2026: CAP Round 3 Joining Deadline Extended for MBBS and BDS
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has extended the last date for joining allotted colleges through CAP Round 3 for MBBS and BDS courses under Group A for the academic year 2026–27. As announced in Notice No. 26, the joining deadline has been extended from 14 October 2026 to 16 October 2026, up to 3:00 PM.
The extension follows a notice issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on 14 October 2026. Candidates who received an MBBS or BDS seat through Maharashtra NEET UG CAP Round 3 were advised to complete their college reporting and admission formalities within the revised deadline.
Important Update on the Stray Vacancy Round
The Maharashtra CET Cell has also cancelled the earlier schedule for the Online Stray Vacancy Round(s), which was published under Notice No. 23 dated 12 October 2026. According to Notice No. 26, a revised schedule for the online stray vacancy rounds will be published soon.
Candidates seeking MBBS and BDS admission in Maharashtra should regularly check the official CET Cell portal for the updated counselling schedule, seat availability and further admission instructions.
