Manipur NEET UG Counselling 2026: Revised Round 1 Schedule
The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Manipur has issued a notification revising the schedule for the 1st Round of Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026–27. The revised schedule has been issued in accordance with the updated NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The counselling covers admissions to MBBS and BDS courses under the State Government Quota, along with MBBS seats under the Management and NRI Quota at Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol.
As per the revised schedule, the merit list of applied candidates will be notified on 24 August 2026. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be published on 28 August 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats will be required to complete reporting and joining at their allotted institute between 28 August and 5 September 2026.
The Directorate has clarified that the revision is limited to the specified counselling schedule. All other terms, conditions, instructions, guidelines and provisions contained in the earlier notification dated 10 August 2026 will remain unchanged, including the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for registration and Round 1 counselling.
Candidates and participating institutions are advised to take note of the revised dates and comply with the schedule accordingly. Further updates regarding the counselling process will be communicated through the Manipur Medical e-Counselling portal and the official website. manipurmc.mn.gov.inof the Directorate of Health Services, Manipur.
