MCC 2026: NMC Releases Addendum and Appellate Boards for PwBD Candidates

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a notice regarding the NMC addendum and appellate boards for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates. The notice provides guidelines for the assessment and facilitation of PwBD candidates for admission to the MBBS course, 2026. The MCC has constituted an appellate body in compliance with the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
Counselling Procedure & Guidelines
Candidates who want to apply under the PwBD category are advised to go through the document enclosed as Annexure-I. The guidelines provide information on the assessment of persons with benchmark disabilities for admission to the MBBS course, 2026.

- NEET UG 2026 Scorecard
- NEET Admit Card
- PwBD Disability Certificate (as per NMC format)
- Eligibility Certificate issued by designated Medical Board
- Valid Government ID Proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport)
- Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets and Certificates
- Recent Passport Size Photographs
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Medical Reports supporting disability claim
- Undertaking (if required by MCC/NMC)
