Meghalaya NEET UG Counselling 2026: MBBS, BDS Dates & Documents
The Directorate of Health Services (Medical Education & Research), Meghalaya has issued a notification regarding UG counselling for the 2026–27 academic year. The counselling will cover admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses under the State Quota, Central Pool Seats and Shillong Medical College, Shillong.
According to the notification, the counselling process will commence on September 1, 2026, and continue until September 3, 2026. Candidates are required to attend the counselling according to their allotted time slot.
An important relaxation has also been provided for candidates who are unable to attend counselling on the first day. Such candidates can attend the counselling process on Day 2 or Day 3.
Candidates appearing for the counselling have been instructed to carry their original documents. The notification specifically mentions three documents: the Birth Certificate, Permanent Residential Certificate and SC/ST Certificate. Candidates belonging to the applicable category should ensure that the required original certificate is available at the time of counselling.
The counselling venue is the Directorate of Health Services (MI), Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Health Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
