Mizoram NEET UG 2026 State Quota: Document Verification & Seat Selection
The Government of Mizoram, Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, has issued an office order regarding document verification and provisional seat selection for candidates seeking Mizoram State Quota seats on the basis of NEET-UG scores. The notice is dated August 14, 2026 and requires eligible candidates to appear before the Academic Officer, Technical Wing Office of Higher & Technical Education, Chaltlang, Aizawl, according to the allotted schedule.
As per the schedule, candidates ranked 101 to 174 in the final merit list were scheduled for document verification and provisional seat selection on August 20, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Candidates ranked 175 to 250 were scheduled for the same process from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Candidates are required to bring the original documents, including their Birth Certificate, Residential Certificate, SC/ST Certificate, Class X and XII certificates and marksheets, Class XI marksheet, NEET-UG 2026 Admit Card and Score Card, identity proof, parent’s identity proof, Migration Certificate and, where applicable, the appointment letter for parents working under the Government in Category III & IV posts.
A ₹15,000 cash security deposit is also required. The notice states that candidates who do not attend the scheduled session will be considered unwilling to stake their claim for Mizoram State Quota seats.
Important: The notice mentions “NEET (UG) 2025 score cards” in one place, while the required documents specifically mention the NEET-UG 2026 Admit Card & Score Card. This appears to be an inconsistency in the notice.
