NEET UG 2026 Uttarakhand Round 1 Seat Surrender: Last Date & Procedure
Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has issued a notice regarding the seat surrender, withdrawal and resignation procedure for candidates allotted seats in Round-I of NEET UG 2026 Uttarakhand Centralized Counselling. The notice was published on September 14, 2026, by the Uttarakhand Centralized Counselling Board.
As per the notification, candidates who were allotted a Round-I seat based on their merit and choices and selected the **FREEZE** option after completing the admission procedure at the allotted institute can surrender their seat without forfeiture of the security deposit. Such candidates are required to personally report to the concerned institute on or before **5:00 PM on September 16, 2026**.
Candidates who selected the **FLOAT** option and wish to surrender their Round-I allotted seat without forfeiting the security deposit can complete the surrender process by logging into their counselling account using their Login ID. The deadline for FLOAT candidates is also **5:00 PM on September 16, 2026**.
The counselling authority has clearly stated that no candidate will be permitted to surrender a Round-I seat after the specified deadline. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official HNBUMU website for further counselling updates and important information.
Candidates participating in Uttarakhand NEET UG counselling should carefully follow the applicable surrender procedure and complete the process before the deadline.
