OJEE NEET UG 2026: PwBD Candidates Can Appeal Medical Assessment

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has issued Notice No. OJEE/432 regarding the appellate authority for Physically Challenged (PC)/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates seeking admission to MBBS courses in 2026. The notice has been issued in accordance with the NMC Guidelines on Assessment of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) for admission to MBBS course 2026.
As per the notice, any candidate who is aggrieved by the findings or decision of the Medical Assessment Board may prefer an appeal before the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Odisha, which has been designated as the Appellate Authority for such matters.
Candidates wishing to raise a grievance are required to submit their representation to the Chairman, OJEE either through a hardcopy application or by email. The grievance must be submitted on or before 21 August 2026, 5:00 PM. OJEE will subsequently forward the grievance to DMET, Odisha for necessary action in accordance with the applicable guidelines.
