Punjab NEET UG 2026: Revised Round 1 Counselling Schedule for MBBS/BDS
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has released a revised schedule for the first round of online counselling under NEET UG 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. The notice revises the previously announced timeline for various stages of the first round of counselling. The changes cover online choice filling, provisional seat allotment, submission of objections, publication of the revised provisional allotment and physical reporting at the allotted colleges.
As per the revised schedule, the online choice filling/submission of preferences for the first round, which was earlier scheduled from 16 August to 19 August 2026, has now been extended up to 23 August 2026, 5:00 PM. Candidates therefore get additional time under the revised counselling timeline to submit their preferences.
The Provisional Seat Allotment Result, earlier scheduled for 22 August, will now be displayed on 27 August 2026. Candidates who have objections regarding the provisional allotment can submit them by 28 August 2026. Importantly, BFUHS has specified that objections will be accepted only through personal appearance at the Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot, along with supporting documents. Objections sent through email or any other electronic mode will not be entertained.
After disposal of objections, the revised provisional seat allotment, if applicable, will be displayed on 29 August 2026. Candidates who receive provisional allotments must then report physically to their respective colleges from 30 August to 5 September 2026 for original document verification, medical examination wherever applicable, completion of admission formalities and payment of six months' tuition fee through the University Online Payment Gateway available in their candidate login.
