Punjab NEET UG 2026: State Medical Assessment Board for PwBD Candidates
BFUHS has constituted a State Medical Assessment Board at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot for assessing PwBD candidates seeking MBBS/BDS admission under the Punjab State Quota through NEET UG 2026. The assessment will follow applicable NMC guidelines and competent authority directions.
Counselling Procedure & Guidelines
Candidates who have applied under the PwBD category and are unable to report at the designated MCC assessment centres may appear before the State Medical Assessment Board as per the schedule notified by BFUHS. Candidates should regularly check the university website for the assessment date, time and venue.
The disability assessment issued by this State Board will be valid only for Punjab State Quota (85%) seats and will not be valid for other State Quota or All India Quota (15%) seats.
Important Documents Required for Verification
Candidates appearing for assessment should carry:
- Original Disability Certificate / UDID Card
- Relevant medical records
- Other relevant medical documents, as applicable.
