Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2026: Revised Round 1 Schedule
The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Tamil Nadu has issued Notification No. 20/SCS1(1)/2026, revising the schedule for Round 1 of Tamil Nadu UG MBBS and BDS Counselling 2026. The revised schedule has been issued in accordance with the updated UG State Schedule 2026 released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on 19 August 2026.
As per the revised schedule, candidates can register, fill their choices and lock their choices until 24 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM. Candidates should complete all choice-related activities within the prescribed deadline to participate in the Round 1 seat allotment process.
The seat allotment processing for Tamil Nadu Round 1 will be conducted on 25 and 26 August 2026, while the Round 1 allotment results will be published on 27 August 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats will be able to download their Allotment Order from 27 August to 5 September 2026, up to 12:00 Noon.
Candidates receiving an allotment must complete the required reporting and admission formalities within the prescribed timeline. The last date for reporting under Tamil Nadu Round 1 counselling is 5 September 2026, up to 5:00 PM. Candidates are advised to carefully follow the revised schedule and complete each required step before the respective deadline.
