Tamil Nadu NEET UG Round 3 Counselling 2026: Revised Schedule
The Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee has announced a one-day extension to the Round 3 joining schedule for NEET UG 2026 counselling following representations received from candidates and discussions with the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
As per the revised schedule, candidates can fill and lock their choices until 5:00 PM on 9 October 2026. The seat allotment processing for Tamil Nadu Round 3 will be conducted on 10 and 11 October 2026.
The notification also clarifies that candidates who have already joined an All India Quota (AIQ) seat up to Round 3 will be removed from the processing of Tamil Nadu State Round 3 results. This is an important point for candidates participating simultaneously in AIQ and state counselling.
The Tamil Nadu Round 3 allotment result will be published on 12 October 2026. Candidates who receive an allotment will be able to download their allotment orders from 12 October to 15 October 2026, up to 12:00 noon.
The last date for reporting/joining against the Tamil Nadu Round 3 allotment is 15 October 2026, up to 5:00 PM. Candidates should carefully check the revised timeline and complete choice locking, allotment-related formalities and reporting within the prescribed deadlines.
