UP NEET UG Counselling 2026: Important Joining Instructions for Service Bond Candidates Released
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has issued an important notice regarding the joining process for candidates allotted seats through the online counselling conducted under the mandatory Government Service Bond. The notification applies to NEET UG 2020 batch candidates as well as eligible NEET UG 2019 and NEET UG 2018 batch candidates who completed the MBBS course along with the NEET UG 2020 batch.
According to the notice, candidates allotted seats in government, autonomous medical colleges, institutions, and medical universities must report within the prescribed timeline with all required documents, including the allotment letter, category certificate (if applicable), permanent or provisional medical registration certificate, internship completion certificate, and other relevant documents. After document verification, candidates must submit their joining report, and appointment orders will be issued by the respective Principal, Dean, Vice-Chancellor, or Director.
The notification further states that candidates allotted to Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) under the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Uttar Pradesh, must report to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the concerned district with the necessary documents for verification and submission of their joining report. Appointment orders for such candidates will be issued by the respective Chief Medical Officer. All eligible candidates are advised to complete the joining formalities within the specified schedule to avoid any delay in their appointments.
