Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026: HNBUMU Cancels Provisional Seat Allotment in List-II
Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has released List-II for the cancellation of provisional seat allotments under Round 1 and Round 2 of Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026 State Centralized Counselling. The notice, dated September 29, 2026, follows the verification of candidates' domicile, category, and sub-category certificates. According to the university, provisional seat allotments were initially made based on merit, candidates' submitted preferences, and their claims regarding domicile and reservation categories. During the admission process, the certificates of candidates admitted to various institutions and those who opted for FLOAT were verified through the respective college principals and concerned District Magistrates. Based on the verification reports received from the districts, the university cancelled the provisional allotment of Kusum Mal, whose allotted college was Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Government Institute of Medical Science and Research (VCSGGIMS&R), Srinagar Garhwal, under the SC WOMEN category. The candidate's NEET roll number is 3905206090. The notice states that the candidate will have no further claim over the provisionally allotted seat. HNBUMU has also indicated that additional lists may be uploaded to the counselling portal as verification reports regarding domicile, category, and sub-category certificates are received from the districts. Candidates participating in Uttarakhand NEET UG counselling are advised to check the official counselling portal for further updates and notifications regarding their allotment status.
