WB NEET UG Counselling 2026: Revised Round 1 Schedule & Dates
The Directorate of Medical Education, West Bengal has issued a revised tentative schedule for Round 1 of WB NEET UG 2026 counselling for State Quota, Private Management Quota and NRI Quota seats. The revised schedule outlines the complete admission process, including online registration, fee payment, candidate verification, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting at the allotted institute.
Candidates qualified through NEET UG 2026 can complete Round 1 online registration during the specified windows. Registration is scheduled from August 13 at 11 AM to August 16 at 6 PM, followed by a second registration window from August 20 at 3 PM to August 23 at 6 PM. Online fee payment is available during the corresponding periods. After successful registration and payment, candidates will undergo verification on August 14, 17, 18, 21 and 24, between 11 AM and 4 PM. The verification requirement is not applicable to NRI candidates as specified in the notice.
The list of successfully verified candidates and the Round 1 seat matrix will be published on August 25 after 12 Noon. Verified candidates can then fill and lock their choices from August 25 at 4 PM to August 27 at 6 PM. The Round 1 allotment result is scheduled for August 31 after 4 PM. Candidates receiving seats must complete reporting and admission formalities at their allotted institutes on September 1, 2, 3 or 5, 2026, between 10 AM and 4 PM.
