WBJEE 2026: Board Notifies Procedure to Obtain Round-Specific Seat Allocation ID for Admission
Submission of Round-Specific Seat Allocation ID for Admission
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has informed all candidates who opted for "No Upgradation" and wish to complete the admission process that they must produce the 6-digit Seat Allocation ID of the respective counselling round to the Participating Institute (PI) Admin at the time of admission.
Candidates are advised to note that the Seat Allocation ID is round-specific — a separate Seat Allocation ID is generated for each round of counselling. Candidates must therefore submit the Seat Allocation ID corresponding to the current round of seat allotment.
Opting for "No Upgradation" locks a candidate's current seat allotment and removes them from consideration in subsequent upgradation rounds, allowing them to proceed directly to document verification and admission at the allotted Participating Institute. Since the Seat Allocation ID is unique to each round, candidates who mistakenly quote an ID from an earlier round may face delays or rejection at the reporting stage.
Procedure to obtain the Seat Allocation ID:
All concerned candidates are requested to ensure compliance with the above instructions to avoid any delay in the admission process.
Candidates are advised to take a screenshot or printout of the Seat Allocation ID page along with their other admission documents, so that it is readily available for verification at the Participating Institute without needing to access the portal again on the spot.
