West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1: Complete Schedule
The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee has released the tentative Round 1 counselling schedule for WB NEET UG 2026 for State Quota, Private Management Quota and NRI Quota seats. The schedule covers registration, fee payment, candidate verification, seat matrix publication, choice filling, allotment, reporting/admission and seat surrender.
Counselling Procedure & Guidelines
Candidates qualified through NEET UG 2026 can register online from 13 August to 16 August 2026. After successful registration and fee payment, candidates will undergo document verification on the scheduled dates. The list of successfully verified candidates and Round 1 seat matrix will be published on 19 August. Verified candidates can then complete choice filling and choice locking from 19 to 21 August. The Round 1 allotment result will be published on 25 August 2026. Selected candidates must report to their allotted institute from 26 to 28 August with the required original documents and complete the admission formalities.
Important Documents Required for Verification
Candidates should carry their original documents required for counselling and admission, including NEET UG 2026 documents, academic certificates, applicable domicile/category certificates and other documents prescribed in the counselling notice. The allotted institute will conduct the final physical document verification before admission.
