Follow the steps below to access the Round 1 allotment PDF from the official AIIMS portal.
- Go to the official AIIMS Exams website at aiimsexams.ac.in.
- Click on 'Academic Courses' on the homepage.
- Select the link for the INI CET July 2026 Session.
- Click on 'Round 1 Seat Allocation Result'.
- The PDF will open on screen. Download it.
- Search for your roll number in the PDF to check your allotment details.

What to Do After Seat Allotment
Once the Round 1 result is out, allotted candidates must log in to the portal and choose one of the following options. If you are unsure about which institute or specialisation to pick, our Career Counselling service can help you make the right call.
- Option 1: Accept the allotted seat and opt out of further rounds.
- Option 2: Accept the allotted seat and participate in Round 2 for a possible upgrade. The Round 1 seat is treated as vacated. Failing to join the upgraded seat in Round 2 will attract a penalty of Rs 3 lakh.
- Candidates who do not log in and select an option within the given deadline will forfeit their allotted seat.
Candidates who accept a seat must report to the allotted institute for document verification within the specified dates. Failure to report will result in cancellation of the seat. However, such candidates remain eligible for the open round of INI CET 2026 counselling.
Participating Institutes in INI CET 2026
INI CET 2026 offers admission to MD, MS, DM, MCh, and MDS seats across Institutes of National Importance. The total number of seats available is 875. Key participating institutes include AIIMS New Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates who score below the minimum qualifying percentile for their category are not eligible to participate in the counselling rounds. The cutoff score is declared separately for each session of INI CET.

About INI CET
INI CET is a national-level postgraduate medical entrance exam conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. It is held twice a year — in January and July — for admission to PG medical programmes at Institutes of National Importance across India. The exam is computer-based and carries negative marking of one-third mark for every wrong answer.
