Admission Process at Acropolis Group of Institutions, Indore

For the four-year B.Tech programme a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and a third subject such as Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45 percent marks. Admission is offered through the Madhya Pradesh engineering counselling process run by the Directorate of Technical Education, where seats are allotted using JEE Main rank and the Madhya Pradesh qualifying marks. Seats are distributed among the open, SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories as per the reservation policy of the state, and a small number of seats may be filled through institute-level and management quota.

For the two-year MBA, applicants need a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks and a valid score in an entrance test such as CMAT, followed by state counselling. MCA applicants need a bachelor's degree with mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation stage. BCA, BBA and B.Com admissions are based on 10+2 marks and the counselling or merit list of the institute, while B.Pharm admission needs 10+2 with science subjects and is routed through the state counselling for pharmacy. M.Tech applicants should hold a relevant B.Tech or B.E. degree and a qualifying score as per state norms.

  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
  • JEE Main or relevant entrance scorecard and rank letter
  • Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate for postgraduate programmes
  • Domicile certificate for state quota seats
  • Caste or category certificate and income certificate, wherever applicable
  • Transfer certificate and migration certificate
  • Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs
  • Counselling allotment letter and fee payment receipt

After registration, candidates fill in their choices, take part in the counselling rounds and report to the allotted institute with original documents for verification. Seats are confirmed only after the admission fee is paid within the schedule announced by the counselling authority. Applicants who miss a round may still try the next round or the institute-level vacant seat round, and students who are not satisfied with the branch allotted can use the internal branch change round where it is offered. Application windows differ for every course. For recent sessions, BCA applications were taken in May, MBA and MCA applications ran from mid June to mid August, and B.Pharm counselling took place in October, while B.Tech admission followed the state engineering counselling calendar. Dates are revised every year, so keep your documents ready early and check the latest notice before applying.

Students should also check the cut-off trends before finalising choices, because closing ranks change with the round and the branch. The expected ranks for every branch are discussed on the cutoff page
