About Army Institute of Education
Army Institute of Education (AIE) was established in August 2003 under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) to provide quality teacher education to the wards of Army personnel. Initially operating from Delhi Cantt, the institute relocated to its state-of-the-art permanent campus in Greater Noida in 2013, sharing an expansive 15.34-acre tech-enabled campus environment with the Army Institute of Management & Technology (AIMT). Affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi, and recognized by NCTE, AIE is NAAC accredited and dedicated to sculpting context-responsive, creative, and professionally excellent educator-leaders. The institute provides professional education courses, including Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and B.Ed. Special Education (Learning Disability), backed by comprehensive residential facilities, modern ICT infrastructure, and vibrant student-led hobby clubs.
