Eligibility Criteria
MBBS from NMC-recognised college; 1-year internship completed by 31 March; NMC/State Medical Council registration; NEET PG score (50th percentile General; 45th percentile OBC/SC/ST/PwD).
Admission Process
50% AIQ via MCC PG (mcc.nic.in). 50% Karnataka State via KEA PG counselling (kea.kar.nic.in). RGUHS-affiliated PG programmes (MD/MS/DIP). Seat matrix published annually.

Important Notice

OBC Karnataka candidates must claim OBC category in KEA even if not claimed in NEET PG. Penalty clause applicable if bond violated post-PG. SC/ST/OBC/Linguistic minority reservations per state policy.

10+2 PCB + English; 50% General/EWS; 40% OBC/SC/ST; 45% PwD; NEET qualified; age ≥ 17 years by 31 Dec. Non-Karnataka students eligible for MQ and NRI quota.
Admission Process
100% seats via KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) centralised NEET UG counselling (kea.kar.nic.in). Steps: (1) Register on KEA portal with NEET scorecard. (2) Document verification at KEA-designated centre. (3) Choice filling: select college + quota. (4) Seat allotment based on NEET rank. (5) Pay caution deposit / fee via KEA. (6) Report to AIMSRC within specified time. NOTE: KEA does NOT allow fresh option entry in Round 2 – only reshuffling. Caution deposit ₹1,00,000 for Mop-Up Round participation.

Important Notice

KEA conducts: Round 1 → Round 2 (reshuffling only) → Mop-Up Round → Stray Vacancy Round (online only from 2023). Non-Karnataka students: apply for 'P Quota' (Management) and NRI seats. Karnataka domicile required only for government merit quota. LOP date: 20 August 2016.
