AIIMS Bibinagar, established under PMSSY Phase-VII, is an Institute of National Importance as per the AIIMS Act. It initiated its academic journey in 2019 with the first batch of 50 MBBS students. The campus extends over 200 acres on NH-163 at Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Telangana, in a serene and green landscape. The vision of the institute is to become a global leader in healthcare education and services. Its goals are quality in medical training and easy access to community care. Dr. Vikas Bhatia, Director, personally looks after student development and welfare. AIIMS Bibinagar does not witness any ragging incidents with very strict anti-ragging rules. Hostels are safe with CCTV surveillance and good visitor screening. Live learning is offered in the hospital of the campus with exposure to various branches of medicine. They are exposed to leisure and cultural activities like a music club, parks, and festivals. AIIMS Vatika and Rainbow Park are students' music and grass relaxation places. Clinical psychologists and psychiatrists manage the counseling centers on campus for mental well-being. Festivals in India that are celebrated all over the regions build rich varied culture. Outing and local travel facilities are present. The institute promotes a participative and student-centered environment where clubs and committees thrive.
