AIIMS PhD Entrance Exam + Interview

Eligibility Criteria

MBBS/MD/MS or M.Sc with 55% marks; non-medical MSc/MTech with 60%

Admission Process

Written exam + departmental interview, conducted annually by AIIMS Delhi.

Required Entrance Exams

INI-CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test)

Eligibility Criteria

MBBS with 55% marks (General/OBC); 50% for SC/ST; internship by March 31; valid INI-CET score

Admission Process

INI-CET conducted twice yearly (January and July sessions) by AIIMS Delhi. Registration at aiimsexams.ac.in. 50% AIQ via MCC counselling; 50% Institutional Preference (IP) for AIIMS Delhi MBBS graduates. INI-CET July 2026 exam: May 16, 2026.

Important Notice

No rural bond for AIIMS Delhi PG graduates. PG monthly stipend ₹65,000–₹80,000. IP pathway: AIIMS Delhi MBBS → AIIMS Delhi MD/MS is a major career advantage.

Required Entrance Exams

📝NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria

10+2 with PCB and English; 60% aggregate (General/OBC/EWS); 50% for SC/ST; NEET qualified; min age 17 years

Admission Process

100% AIQ via MCC (mcc.nic.in). Steps: Qualify NEET UG → Register on MCC portal → Online choice filling → Seat allotment per rank → Online fee payment → Report to AIIMS Delhi for document verification. Four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, Stray Vacancy. Foreign national candidates (7 seats) apply via MEA/MoHFW through diplomatic channels.
