All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rae Bareli (AIIMS Raebareli) is a premier government medical institute established in 2013 under Phase II of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). It is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Located on a 148-acre campus at Dalmau Road, Munshiganj, Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, the institute is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and recognised for academic and clinical excellence. AIIMS Raebareli was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister in February 2024 and has been conducting MBBS classes since 2019. The institute offers MBBS (100 seats), postgraduate MD/MS/MCh/DM programmes (35 seats), BSc Nursing, Paramedical, and PhD courses. Its 610-bed tertiary care teaching hospital provides comprehensive clinical exposure in all major specialties. Mentored by PGIMER Chandigarh, AIIMS Raebareli provides world-class medical education to aspirants from central Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring regions.
