American International Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMSRC, Bedwas), popularly known as AIIMS Udaipur (not to be confused with the Government AIIMS institutions), is a private medical college established in 2016 in Bedwas on Airport Road, Udaipur, Rajasthan. It is managed by American International Health Management Limited (AIHML), a company incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 on 27 June 1997. The institution is affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur (transitioning to Marwar Medical University from AY 2024-25), and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Founded with a vision to produce global leaders in healthcare, AIIMS Udaipur admits 150 MBBS students annually and also offers PG MD/MS programmes and a B.Sc Nursing degree (40 seats). The college campus spans 21 acres on Airport Road, Bedwas, in a non-polluted, peaceful environment near the iconic Maharana Pratap Airport (approximately 5 km), which is one of the most scenic airports in India with views of the Aravalli hills. The nearest railway station is Rana Pratap Nagar, Udaipur. Campus & Infrastructure: The 21-acre campus has smartboard-equipped classrooms and lecture halls, cutting-edge AV systems, well-furnished demonstration rooms, a well-established library with national and international journal subscriptions, a large auditorium, departmental labs, and a skill lab. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available on campus. Hostel is compulsory for all students, including electricity, mess, and security charges. Sports facilities include Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Table Tennis, Cricket, and Badminton. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Teaching Hospital: The attached teaching hospital has 720–750 beds (750 per NMC-filed data; 720 per Bodmas Education 2025) and functions as a non-profit tertiary care hospital providing 24/7 emergency, ICU, OTs, Blood Bank, and wide-ranging specialty services including General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, and super-specialty departments. The hospital provides rich clinical training exposure to MBBS students in the Udaipur region. Fee Structure: MBBS fees for AY 2025-26 are ₹18,90,000/year (State Quota) and ₹28,00,000/year (Management Quota). Additional: ₹3,00,000 refundable caution money, hostel fees, and other annual charges. Total fee range across all MBBS categories: ₹36,00,000–₹85,05,000.
