AGMCH was established in 2024. It admitted its first MBBS batch in AY 2024-25 through NTRUHS Phase-II Competent Authority Quota counselling after NMC approval.

AGMCH has NMC approval for 100 MBBS seats for AY 2025-26, with 50 seats available under the Convenor (Category A) quota.

AGMCH is affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi.

Category A (Convenor Quota) fee is approximately ₹15,000 per year. Management Quota (Category B) is approximately ₹12–13.2 Lakh per year. NRI Quota (Category C) is approximately ₹20 Lakh per year. Fees are subject to revision by the AP Fee Regulatory Committee.
