About Ashwini Rural Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Solapur

Ashwini Rural Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre (ARMCH), Solapur, was inaugurated in 2012 and is managed by M.M. Patel Public Charitable Trust. It is the first private medical college in Solapur district, affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Located at Kumbhari near the Solapur–Akkalkot highway, ARMCH is spread over a sprawling campus of 86,976.86 sq. mt. comprising 16 buildings. The institution offers MBBS (100 seats, expanding to 150 from AY 2025-26) and postgraduate MD/MS programmes. The attached 520-bed teaching hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities including CT scan, MRI, ICU, NICU, and PICU, and runs 24×7 emergency and trauma care services. ARMCH aims to produce doctors of global standards while providing affordable healthcare to the rural population of Maharashtra.
