Autonomous State Medical College and Hospital, Gonda (ASMC Gonda) is a government medical college established in 2024 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the Department of Medical Education. Located at Pant Nagar, Gonda, Uttar Pradesh – 271003, the college is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Principal is Dr. Dhananjay Shrikant Kotasthane. The college received NMC approval for 100 MBBS seats for the 2024-25 academic session — a milestone announced by the District Magistrate, Gonda. The attached government teaching hospital with 100+ beds provides clinical training in General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, and other specialties.
