Autonomous State Medical College and Hospital, Lakhimpur Kheri (ASMC Lakhimpur Kheri) is a government medical college established in 2024 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Located at Jail Road, near GIC Inter College, Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh – 262701, the college is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It is the only medical college in Lakhimpur Kheri district, catering to the healthcare education needs of one of Uttar Pradesh's largest and least medically served districts, bordering Nepal. With 100 NMC-approved MBBS seats, the college is attached to a 100+ bed government teaching hospital providing clinical exposure across General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Orthopaedics.
