About Bareilly International University

Bareilly International University (BIU), Bareilly, is a self-financing State Private University established under the Uttar Pradesh Government Act No. 26 of 2016, notified via Gazette on 16th September 2016, and promoted by the Rohilkhand Charitable Educational Trust. Functional since the 2016-17 academic session, BIU is recognised under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and is situated on Pilibhit Bypass Road, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh — 243006. As an umbrella university, BIU brings together twelve constituent colleges and faculties under a single academic and administrative structure, offering more than 100 undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral programmes across Medical Sciences, Dental Sciences, Ayurvedic Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Management, Humanities & Journalism, Fine Arts, Forensic Sciences, and Allied & Health Care Sciences. The flagship Rohilkhand Medical College & Hospital (RMCH) offers MBBS with an annual intake of 250 seats, along with 17 MD specialities, 5 MS specialities, and M.Sc. programmes in pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects, all under National Medical Commission approval. The Institute of Dental Sciences offers BDS (100 seats) and nine MDS specialities recognised by the Dental Council of India, while Rohilkhand Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital runs the NCISM-approved BAMS programme. On the nursing front, Rohilkhand College of Nursing and Rohilkhand School of Nursing together offer B.Sc. Nursing, Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing, five M.Sc. Nursing specialisations, a PG Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (NPCC), GNM and ANM, recognised by the Indian Nursing Council and U.P. Nurses & Midwives Council. Pharmacy education runs through BIU College of Pharmacy and Rohilkhand College of Pharmacy, offering D.Pharm, B.Pharm and M.Pharm programmes under Pharmacy Council of India approval. BIU College of Management is one of the university's largest faculties, running BBA, BBA (Honours) in Finance & Taxation and in Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, BCA and its AI/ML, AI/Data Science and IT & Multimedia honours variants, B.Com (Honours), MBA with dual specialisation options (HR, Marketing, Finance, IT, Operations, International Business, Cooperative Management, Event Management), MBA in Healthcare & Hospital Administration, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, MCA, and Master in Public Health. The Faculty of Allied and Health Care Sciences covers Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Optometry, Radiological Imaging Technology and Operation Theatre Technology at both UG and PG levels, while BIU College of Humanities & Journalism and the newly launched Faculty of Fine Arts add programmes in Mass Communication, Journalism, and Fine Arts (Film Making, Photography, Painting). The Faculty of Forensic Sciences offers B.Sc. and M.Sc. Forensic Science, and a University-wide Ph.D. programme spans nearly all these disciplines. BIU holds a wide portfolio of statutory recognitions — UGC 2(f), NMC, DCI, PCI, INC, NCISM, U.P. State Medical Faculty, NAAC assessment, NABH accreditation for its attached hospital, AIU membership, and SIRO/DSIR recognition for research. The campus is equipped with a DELNET-linked central library, two large auditoriums, Wi-Fi-enabled ICT classrooms, extensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a 27-room air-conditioned guest house, a campus temple, banking and ATM facilities, and sustainability infrastructure including solar power and rainwater harvesting. NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually, minimum 50% aggregate (40% SC/ST/OBC); minimum age 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year.
Admission Process
Candidate applies for NEET UG (notified in leading newspapers and on the NEET website during Jan/Feb). Examination held April/May; results and merit list notified on the NEET website. Qualified candidates participate in UP NEET UG counselling (July/Aug) where eligibility documents are verified; allotted seat must be confirmed at the college on or before the last date in the allotment letter, with the required fee and documents.

Important Notice

Applicable to MBBS, BDS and BAMS. Last date for admission is 30th September of the admission year or as notified by NMC/DCI/NCISM or the appropriate authority. Hostel is compulsory for these programmes.
