BULMIM offers management education exclusively through the Post Graduate Diploma in Management, popularly called PGDM. Both versions of the programme are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, and the full-time programme is recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to an MBA degree for purposes of further education and employment. This focused approach allows the institute to concentrate its faculty, infrastructure and industry connections on a single flagship offering rather than spreading resources across many unrelated courses.

Courses Offered at BULMIM New Delhi
PGDM (Full Time) - 2 Years
The full-time PGDM runs for two years and is organised into six trimesters. The first three trimesters, spread over the first year, concentrate mainly on core management subjects that build a strong foundation across marketing, finance, human resources, operations, analytics and business communication. The second year focuses on elective and specialisation courses, along with value-added courses that sharpen employability. The programme is non-residential, and the sanctioned intake for the full-time batch is 180 students. A key feature is dual specialisation, which lets students combine two functional areas such as marketing, finance, human resource management, information technology and operations management, or international business.
The institute also describes its full-time programme as perhaps the only business school offering a course dedicated to China, reflecting the growing importance of Asian trade relationships. Students are exposed to industry through guest lectures, seminars, corporate participation and live interactions, and the curriculum is regularly updated to reflect changing business practice.
PGDM (Part Time) - 3 Years
The part-time PGDM is a three-year programme designed for working individuals who want a formal management qualification without leaving their jobs. It was introduced in 1995 and is almost similar to the full-time programme in terms of content and academic rigour. Classes are conducted in the evening after office hours or on weekends so that professionals can manage both work and study. Applicants are expected to hold a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of work experience.
