Birsa Munda Government Medical College (GMC), Shahdol, established in 2018, is a full-fledged tertiary government medical college in the tribal-dominated Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. Named after legendary tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda, the college is affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University (MPMSU), Jabalpur, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It admits 100 MBBS students annually and also offers nursing and paramedical courses.
