BMIET is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi since the 2016 academic year. It was previously affiliated with DCRUST, Murthal.
The annual B.Tech fee is INR 1,57,100 (2024-25) with a total 4-year fee of approximately INR 4,95,000 (2025-26). First-year fee includes tuition, university fee, alumni fund, and security deposit. Optional hostel fee is INR 55,000/semester and optional bus fee is INR 25,000/semester.
B.Tech admissions are through JEE Main scores via GGSIPU / IPU CET counselling. The JEE Main 2024 cutoff for B.Tech CSE (General) was between AIR 85,825 (opening) and AIR 1,44,758 (closing). Students can also apply directly via the BMIET website and appear for BMSET for scholarship eligibility.
